Help Us Keep Keller Kids Warm This Winter!

Image
As the temperatures drop and winter approaches, many students in our Keller ISD community are without the proper winter clothing they need to stay warm. Over 30% of KISD students come from economically disadvantaged households, which means that more than 10,000 kids may not have a warm coat this winter. At the Keller Lions Club, we believe that no child should have to endure the cold without a proper winter coat. That’s why we’re hosting our annual “It’s Fall Y’all” Coat Drive, and we need your help! How You Can Make a Difference Your donations of new or gently used coats—whether for children or adults—can help provide warmth and comfort to those in need this winter. The simple act of donating a coat can have a profound impact on a child’s health, wellbeing, and ability to thrive. Here’s how you can contribute: - What to Donate:  New or gently used coats in all sizes for children and adults. - Why to Donate:  To help over 10,000 Keller ISD students in need of winter clothing. ...

The holiday season is a time for joy, giving, and coming together as a community. The Keller Lions Club exemplifies the true spirit of the season through a series of heartwarming initiatives that spread joy and support to those in need. Volunteering with the Keller Lions Club

Image
The Keller Lions Club is a civic organization that devotes hundreds of hours each year to serving the Keller community. Our motto, "We Serve," is more than just a motto - it's a call to action. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, from cleaning up the roadsides to collecting toys for children in need. We also support our first responders, veterans' affiliates, and food banks. Volunteer events are made successful with the commitment of our Fellow Lions, but we have room for more people who want to give back to the community. You can serve as much or as little as you want, and our members are a diverse group of local business owners, community leaders, retirees, and more. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at 532 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248. You can also learn more about us on our website (http://www.kellerlionsclub.com ) or Facebook page.
